HARVARD BUSINESS PUBLISHING NAMED BEST LEADERSHIP SOLUTION
BY ELEARNING! MAGAZINE READERS
BOSTON – March 18, 2008 – Harvard Business Publishing today announced that its leadership courses have been voted
Best in Class solutions by readers of Elearning! Magazine, in their annual “Best of Elearning!” awards program.
Award recipients are determined by professionals from hundreds of organizations who nominate and cast ballots for the best e-learning solutions providers across 11 product categories.
Harvard Business Publishing program The Essential Leader was voted Best Leadership Solution. Comprised of 13 courses, The Essential Leader covers fundamental management and leadership topics ranging from the best-selling
Leadership Transitions based on the work of
Michael Watkins to
Stepping Up to Management based on subject matter experts including Harvard Business Professor
Linda Hill.
“We’re honored that Elearning! Magazine’s voters deemed our leadership development courses worthy of this award, and particularly because they noted two specific reasons. One, the courses effectively motivate managers and two, their modular design presents information in consumable pieces. Together, they produce results,” said
Peter McAteer, managing director and vice president of Harvard Business Publishing’s corporate learning division. “Our focus remains on providing each client with a customized portfolio of content and services uniquely suited to their talent development strategy.”
Because more than half of all e-learning professionals rely on word of mouth and referrals as a source of product information, the “Best of Elearning!” awards program provides a venue for adopters to share what brands and solutions really work for them. The program is held annually and is in its third year.
