HARVARD BUSINESS PUBLISHING RELEASES CHANGE MANAGEMENT CENTER

Premium Online Resource Helps Leaders Create Successful and Sustained Change

BOSTON – November 11, 2008 – Harvard Business Publishing, the premier source for management practices, programs and content, today announced the release of Change Management Center, a comprehensive collection of resources to help leaders at all levels drive change management throughout their organization.

The Change Management Center presents leaders and managers with a range of perspectives on change management, including expert and practitioner insights from John P. Kotter, Dan S. Cohen, Michael Beer and Behnam Tabrizi. Through videos, articles, learning modules, faculty seminars, news feeds and other resources, leaders will find thought-provoking ideas and valuable tools to help them plan change initiatives, communicate effectively about change, and engage employees in the change effort.

“Given current economic market conditions, the need to be change-ready is more important than ever,” said Peter McAteer, managing director and vice president of Harvard Business Publishing’s corporate learning division. “New strategic approaches, as well as tools for creating a climate for change, can help companies make change management a core capability to support ongoing growth.”

The Change Management Center challenges leaders to consider different approaches to change and discover what will work best within their organizations, particularly in the two areas where most change initiatives fail: communication and employee involvement. The Center examines how to actively engage employees in a change effort, communicate for commitment, overcome obstacles to change and foster the mindset needed to build capability over the long term.

Practical Resources to Cascade Change Through an Organization
